Schneider Downs & Co., Inc., the fourth-largest certified public accounting and business advisory firm in Western Pennsylvania, is seeking a Risk Advisory Services Intern . Between our Pittsburgh and Columbus offices, we have over 450 personnel, including 50 shareholders. Our clients include private and publicly traded companies as well as nonprofit entities. Schneider Downs is one of the top-60 public accounting firms in the United States. We also serve clients throughout the country, and around the world. Our growing Risk Advisory Services practice, a specialty practice area within our Assurance Advisory Services group, provides outsourcing, co-sourcing, service organization control examinations and Sarbanes-Oxley assistance to clients in various industries. As a member of our internship program partnership with the University, you will work hands-on as a member of engagement teams and are responsible for various assigned projects that assist with the completion of the engagement. To enhance your own development, you are formally exposed to areas such as risk assessment, process improvement, control evaluation and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. This learning environment provides experience with a variety of clients and industries such as higher education, retail, wholesale, distribution, natural resources, manufacturing, construction, auto dealers and professional corporations. You will also participate in numerous functions through the program, including firm-events, which provide opportunities to learn and interact with our employees. The internship program includes extensive interactions with SD personnel prior to, during and following the internship ranging from personal mentoring and group learning/development programs.

Qualifications
Must be an accounting majorGraduation date of December 2021 or May 2022Minimum GPA of 3.3Possess a balance of academic excellence, interpersonal skills and leadership ability
