Senior Cybersecurity Analyst - Penetration Tester

We are seeking energized, motivated, and curious experienced information security professionals to work in our cybersecurity practice, that encourages collaboration and the development of open source tools.

A successful candidate will be a key part of our dynamic cybersecurity team working to make our clients and firm safer from cyber attackers. Offensive security will be the focus of this role, with the opportunity to perform network and web application penetration testing, red teaming, as well as, research and development.  

** This role is open for both Pittsburgh and Columbus markets, as well as virtual/remote **

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead testing engagements in designated focus area(s) (e.g. web app, network pentesting, red teaming, wireless testing, etc.) 
  • Play a key role in the internal development of tools, tactics, processes and service offerings
  • Validate remediation plans and consult and assist customers with remediation efforts 
  • General security consulting, risk and compliance consulting 
  • Some public speaking and/or involvement in community events 


  • 3+ years of penetration testing (web and/or network, etc.) and/or red teaming experience 
  • One or more of the following security certification(s) such as the OSCP, GPEN, CISSP or similar 
  • Experience with various penetration testing principles, frameworks, tools and techniques
  • Experience working with Windows and Linux operating systems, servers and desktops
  • Experience with the Windows and Linux command lines
  • Familiarity with various cybersecurity related frameworks and compliance standards (NIST, PCI, FFIEC, etc.)
  • Strong to advanced understanding of networking principles
  • Strong problem solving skills and abilities
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong team player, works well in groups

  • Computer science, IT, computer or electrical engineering, or other tech focused degrees
